Envrio Coaching is a private mental health practice located in Nassau County, NY and NYC. We strive to provide compassionate, high quality, psychotherapy services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. If you are looking to develop your skills as a therapist and work toward a higher licensure level, Envrio can assist. We are driven to provide a culturally competent, person-centered approach to help individuals, couples, and families. We also aim to develop the skills and resources needed to improve overall functioning. We believe in instilling hope and strengthening resiliency. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of each individual. Therapist

Position Overview:

The Therapist role and responsibility is to provide Psychotherapy services to clients. We emphasize a team-based approach to support Therapist and to maximize collective intelligence and best practice.

The therapist is responsible for providing individual, family or group counseling.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide trauma-informed evidence-based treatment and interventions with adults, children & youth, inclusive of their families and support systems. Modalities include play therapy; individual, groups, family, collateral treatment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes e.g. progress notes, assessments and treatment plans, statistics, and other documentation as required.
  • Attend scheduled clinical team meetings.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational / License Requirements:

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), MSW

Experience Required / Skills / Abilities:

  • Effective communication
  • Ability to manage your appointments
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Takes initiative in building collaborative relationships, confident in setting boundaries, seeks guidance when necessary.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Prior experience with electronic health records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems
  • Ability to work on a computer
  • Using virtual platforms such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, etc.

Billing and Coding Assistant

Position Overview:

  • In the role of the Billing and Coding assistant, you will Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures, using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes
  • Ensure codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with government and insurance regulations
  • Follow up with the provider on any documentation that is insufficient or unclear
  • Communicate with other clinical staff regarding documentation
  • Search for information in cases where the coding is complex or unusual
  • Receive and review patient charts and documents for accuracy
  • Review the previous day’s batch of patient notes for evaluation and coding
  • Ensure that all codes are current and active

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Reviewing EHR to ensure billing codes are accurate, to date and invoiced
  • Following up with insurance providers regarding invoice payment.
  • Tracking payment via payment systems
  • Verifying insurance payouts
  • Coordinating with the director on a biweekly basis.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Medical coding or successful completion of a certification program or 5 plus years of medical billing
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
  • Excellent typing and 10-key speed and accuracy
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service
  • Superior mathematical skills
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 codes and procedures
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of medical / mental health terminology preferred
  • Able to work independently

Intake coordinator

Position Overview:

In the role of an intake coordinator, you will greet patients and collect personal information, medical histories, and insurance details relevant to admission for services. You will address patient inquiries and concerns. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your attention to detail and organizational abilities. You should also possess strong interpersonal skills and exemplify excellence in customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Interviews patients using intake assessment instruments.
  • Determines whether the patient is a candidate for outpatient services.
  • Establishes Preliminary diagnosis and recommendation for treatment
  • Verifies patient insurance coverage and benefits

Skills and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Masters in Mental Health Counseling
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong customer service acumen
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written skills
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
